~Another day in an insane mind~

I’m really running out of titles to put for each and every blog…. there’s only so many one can think of when there’s no real title for useless ramblings we all do in blogs. Ah well….

Jeeezzzz…. I really really miss my friends from MMU. Now I feel like we’re all living in little bubbles of our own…. can we pop that when we’re at our graduation? It’s been several months since we’ve last seen the others, so chances are that we’ll spend the whole time talking non-stop….. but there’s also the possibility that we’ve already changed so much that we might not fit in as well as we did not too long ago. Seems rather scary, that thought…. imagine if that happens in a few months time, one can imagine what a few years can do. We’ll hardly recognise each other, say naught about being as close as we were…. I know I know….. that’s called growing up and growing apart….

Though…. there’s still hope…. secondary friends (the really good ones) still stay (and I bet will be for a long long time) firm friends….

Ah well…. c’est la vie…. nothing we can do about that but wait and see.

STIll no sign of a job, be it part time or full time, yet. Still thinking of doing a bit of photography. I’m even considering that as my major studies for my masters. Visual art and communications… that rot…. ho hum~ I don’t know….. I like photography…. but will I like it enough as a job? Will I GET a job as that? Sure, one dreams of fame and fortune and all that jazz……. but facing reality, of all the numbers of really talented photographers out there, how many are really successful? Not everyone is a National Geography photographer. What if I DO take photography as my masters major, and end up being back to what I (am attempting to) do now (digital media…), in the end THAT defeats the purpose of doing my masters anyway. I could take information studies, stuff like how people retain information, how to best convey information, so on and so forth….. but massey doesn’t seem to have that course (face it, I’m rather fond of the idea of going to massey for studies…. not that the other unis don’t have their pull on me….. but it seems like such a charming uni~!! ho hum~ still looking around… anyone? any suggestions?)

Just to answer some Qs messaged to me ( you know who you are….) I’m still looking for several places to apply for my masters, so I don’t know if I’ll end up in melbourne, or NewZ…. I better start applying soon tho. I know most datelines are during Oct, but knowing myself…. I’ll probably procrastinate till the very last minute……. ~ho hum~ Anyone know any unis that offer a masters in areas such as design, communication and multimedia? Message me if you do, coz I’m really running out of options here….. *sigh*

Been sorting through my aussi photos again (I have a LOT….) and suddenly had this bright idea of putting all animal photos from Taronga Zoo in my photo profile. Don’t know why…. maybe coz I saw my cuz’s (Em) too-cute-for-words squirrel~! Hehehehe…… Anyway, I’ll probably won’t change those till sometime Aug…. Yay~ recieved 2 packages from my cuz from UK yesterday~! ( thanks Em~!! *muaks*) I’m floating around cloud 9 now, just thinking of the LOTR figurines~!!! The only black cloud in my now VERY blue sky is the very rough handling of the postages (*curses at Msian post*) Many of the models are in dire need of a fresh coat of paint, some even lost a limb or 2. A poor urukhai lost his sword (can’t find it in the package either. Must have fell out of the tattered box during shipping.) Gandalf and Saruman both broke the tip of their staff, but I found those inside the box (thank LORD~!!) so I’ll have to past them back on and repaint them. One of the wraiths had a broken wrist and sword…. but that’s fixable (I hope) Poor Galadriel has a chipped nose~!!

Still, I’m really really happy to have recieved them….. so can’t really complain~! *grin* Just wish that the post could have been more carefull, not just in this instance, but in all the other cases where postages have been lost, or arrived in less than perfect conditions…..

At least I didn’t have to wait till christmas for them……….

Been MIA for the past …….4…..5(?) days…… Been rather lazy and didn’t end up in dad’s office so couldn’t get online.

Changed my room with mom and dad’s~! *yay* I have my own room now~! Will take some pics and paste it here next time when I’ve really finished with everything. So far, most of the major stuff are in. But the nitpicking haven’t ended yet. Still have a long way to go till it’s considered done.

Still haven’t been to the photo shop for the part time job. Too much stuff to do. Plus, getting rather lazy too~! hahahahaha……..

Aug coming soon. Can’t wait to catch up with the friends in Smjng Malaysia. Been a while since I’ve seen them now. 2 months…? *sigh*

Still looking for a suitable uni for my masters. Very little luck so far. Best bet is still Massey U.

Remember one of my previous entries about me getting a new air-con? Well… that’ll not be happening soon…. instead, I’ve got my own room now~!!!*squeal*

Mom and dad moved from their room to the room I shared with Leo since he’s moved to Penang (at least for the time being) so I get to get their room, and they use mine, which already is half stuffed with their things anyway. Leo’s room is the wardrobe room and now mine will be the ‘bed’room. Perfect~! One big room for them, and one cosy one for me~!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have lots of cupboard space now. Still moving in the furniture. *yay*

I’ve just finished putting away my stuff on Sat…. and yesterday we moved everything again, tho I’m NOT complaining~!! Yay~!

As everyone else in the world today, I’ll be speculating about the attack/bombing yesterday in London. This incident hits my family particularly hard as we have close (very close) relatives staying there. Working right in the middle of London too at that very moment~! Thank goodness they’re alright. Managed to contact them last night. Seems that they were stuck in the city for a long long time. Waiting for more news from them for today as well. Seems that things are eerily quiet there now. Must have shocked a whole lot of people. Even halfway around the globe here, the news managed to shock us~!!

Seem to have a lot of tragedies these days…..

No…. the title is not what you think it is….. I’m actually searching online for my WD HD driver so I can install it and use it with win98 (i.e my current laptop and dad’s office computer) *sigh* getting really annoyed about not being able to use it. Either that or I’ll have to buy a thumb drive just to transfer data between the 3 computers (4, if you count the one I’m using at my mom’s hotel for doing the website). But that’s kinda stupid, since this HD is portable for a REASON~!!! Jeez… I’m pretty miffed about myself why I didn’t just bring the bloody cd back with me~!!! It couldn’t have weighed more than 100g and I just had to throw the damn thing away. *bangs head on wall again at that reminder….* NOW I have to go through all that trouble to find and download it. And I’m not even sure if that’s the correct one~!! It can be just a huge honking galactical waste of time….
