~Another day in an insane mind~

Has it been that long since I’ve last updated? Hmm…. time seems to fly by when you’re daily routine is so monotonous…. I’ve nothing really to do these days, except do a bit of drawing and model painting, reading, watching the telly, basically stuff I didn’t have time to do during my uni life. Found this new interest in drawing Q versions of LOTR characters these days~ *grin* Needless to say, Faramir being the main focus of my attention~! Hahaha…. (I can see a lot of you guys rolling your eyes and groaning….)  I have one of em up in my profiles~ I would have pasted it here, but my pic-pasting thingy’s still not working….. *sigh*

No news from the Uni yet. So I have NO idea if I’ll be going to New Zeland this Feb *sob* Darn, they sure are taking a long time. At this rate I’ll be going off for my masters sometime during July…. Ah well…. more time to prepare?

Miss you guys in KL laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa………… *sigh* All working liao…. Meor, you’ve found your job yet? The rest of you leh? How’s your jobs? Houy Kuen? Naomi? Still in Kenanga ah? I miss KL………. Miss the cinemas too~!!!!! It’s been TOO long since I’ve had a decent movie…. *sigh* I’m suffering from withdrawals here~!!

anyone miss me? *sigh* no… doubt that…. well… here I am back to bug some of you guys…. I know I’ll be getting some emails in response to that comment…*grin*

Nothing worth mentioning here for quite some time…. that’s one of the reasons why I haven’t been updating too much these days…. Not working yet… still doing the ‘apply for masters’ thingy…. still painting those games workshop models… still reading… still watching astro…. At this rate I might be going for my masters sometime during July… for the second intake… have I mentioned that before?~ Anyway… no news from Massey… *groan* Have to do all that application thingy all over again….

Dumped my ranger pic I’ve mentioned during the last few posts into my profile photos… the insert pic thingy still doesn’t work…. why>????????? I give up… *sigh*

nope… the post picture thingy is still not working for me…. ah well… c’est la vie.

The darnest thing happened… not for the first time either… A firefly managed to find its way into my room~! The first was in Puchong~ fancy that…. then last night, another one of those blinking bugs flashed its way around my room. Only noticed it when I was about to go to sleep… what with the lights out and all… t’was real strange…. hahah… specially since I’ve just watched weird travels, all that talk about ghosts and strange paranormal activities~ *grin*

Still, I find it even stranger when one showed up in my room in puchong about a year or so ago. Here in Tawau, I guess you can still find some flying around somewhere and somehow one got lost and found itself in my room….. but you’d NOT expect an industrial place such as puchong or KL to have them still…. specially knowing the very short life they have…

Ah well… stranger things happen……….

damnit… there’s something wrong with the ‘insert picture’ thingy for the blog…. can’t seem to use it…. darn… wanted to post my ranger pic…. not really completed yet…. haven’t found the right base, but near enough. Will try again next time. Now starting on the Pippin in the fellowship.

You know…. these little models can really cause bodily harm… specially if your eyesight is around 750/700 and you’ll have to take your glasses off to paint them…. and managed to misjudge the distance between the model and your cornea….

  Little orcs I painted about… 2 years ago? Got them from Em when I was last in UK… *muaks* At this recent trip to Aussie, I bought a number of lead models from games workshop~ *yay*… now attempting to paint them…. about to finish my first… *double yay*… an ithilien ranger…. (I have 3 different faramirs, btw… I know some of you are wondering out there~) These things are TINY~!!! Had to find the tiniest brushes I could get my hands on~ Will feature that ranger in the next blog, I guess… now all its missing in the details on the platform… the grass and rocks and such….

Getting rather cross-eyed, peering at those models~! hahaha…. my THUMB is bigger than the whole thing~

Had myself made a new pair of sunnies and another pair of spects…. Very near RM1000~!!! Good grief…. but, c’est la vie…. that comes with being VERY short sighted (physically, at least~ … I hope*….) Come to think of it, this is my first pair of sunnies~!! Sure, I’ve had a few clip ons… but heck, they’re EXPENSIVE~!! And the frame is branded (that one fitted me best…. jeez~), which does not help in the over cost budgeting….

What on earth is happening outside my dad’s office now? There’s a bloody car honking right outside the building…. it’s not the usual short honks either…. sounds like the driver died and landed on the wheel……

Anyway, trigger happy honking idiot aside, I’d like to wish a happy deepavali and hari raya to all out there who are celebrating~!! As well as the rest of us who are enjoying the break and holidays for the week~ I’m sure many of you need a break~
