~Another day in an insane mind~

I don’t believe this….. I’ve just recieved the acceptance letter yesterday… *sigh* no time to do the stuff needed before the intake time, which is 20 feb. Have to have the fees and stuff done by the 10th. Medical check up, visa, police report, computer… Arghh~!  Darn it. NOW they tell me…. couldn’t it have been a week or 2 earlier? Then I would be shipping off to NewZ next month~!!!!!!! Now I’ll have to ask for the next intake. *Dang*

There’s also this problem with the programme. They want me to take the grad.dip first…. but I’ve already have an Hons~!! I’d be wasting a lot of money to study what I’ve already paid to study~ Jeeeez………

Argh~ This is a mess….. Now I’m torn between the urge to rush everything to fly off to NewZ asap or wait for the next intake and have the time to actually do things right…….

Met up with 2 old friends last saturday~!! *grin* Had such silly fun at Lily’s house….! *sigh* pity this will be the last time for such a gathering for the 3 of us for a long time…. Those 2 38 Pos will be going to perth, while I’ll be stuck here (for the moment) and (hopefully) going off to do my masters soon…. Played a spot of rummy, but soon got bored with that, and proceeded to use half of the rummy ‘cards’ to play ‘cho dai dee’….. *sweatdrop* Hard to get my head around thinking of those small cubes as playing cards~!! Hahaha….. Haven’t had so much fun for a long time…. especially when we started videotaping a home doco on my palm, with Lily as the host and Lee wun was the special guest, promoting the virtues of playing this new form of ‘cho dai dee’~!! Hahaha… maniacs, I know~!! Amy!!! Pity you aren’t here laaaaa…..

Went out with Shanice as well yesterday…. after… a year and a bit? She worked in Menggaris Indah, the company I went to for my industrial training during my final year in MMU…. that was during year 2004…. *grin* a series of unfortunate events happened that somehow delayed this ‘yum cha’ appointment for some time, and is long overdue~! hehehe… but nevertheless, we made it out. Went around to do some errands, then went to visit the new office for Menggaris Indah. Met up with some of the old ‘gang’ there…. but saw a lot more newbies. Even met up with an old St.Patrician schoolmate who is also an employee there now (and has been for quite some time, apparently…) Didn’t get to see Mr.Chung, since he’s out in KK now….. Went yam cha at the end, after picking up a friend of hers that is back from San Fransisco for CNY. Seems like a nice guy… *grin* quiet but brainy type….

Anyway, seems to me that I need to get out more…. *sigh*

Going off to KK this Sunday (I hope…) But this all depends on whether mom manages to get her leave approved…. … bugger….~

Hey Leo~! Look what we bought~! A new set of sofa for the TV room…. cool eh? This new sofa is real comfy~!! Gungs hasn’t seen it yet. He’s in KK…. The old set is now in 2 different sides, one at the usual place where gungs likes to sit and read, the other at the ‘computer’ room… unfortunately, we had to stack the other tv and the tvstand up (the one we put out dvds in..~)… so now its not on ground level anymore…. sigh* I liked the low stands and all, but it’s kinda cramped when we tried without moving the thingy around….

yay~ had my hair made at last. New colour and trimmed. So now it’s shorter, dark olive brown with grey highlights~ *grin* There’s also this 2 particularly bright streaks that run right in front of my bangs in the middle…. Rather amusing, though I didn’t ask for THAT…. seems like my hair stylist wanted some change for me~! *grin* Sort of reminds me of a toned down version of Rogue (from X Men?) as well as a skunk….. I’ll have to give it a few days since I’ve had it dyed yesterday and the colour is still very fresh and bright (hence… VERY noticable… *squirm*) Hope it’ll be more muted soon…. Even though the base colour is a lot darker than what I used to have…. those grey streaked highlights make the overall effect rather dramatic….

Well…. I’ve been going through some of my data in hopes of being able to sort out something of an order in all the junk. Not much to be done even so, seeing that there’s something wrong with that darn burner of mine. Anyway, been leafing through the old photos, and found a bunch of which pei wan, naomi and I went around taking photos at MMU and in a cafe (drinking jasmine green tea, which I adore~!!!) at sungeiwang after the exams and projects during the final semester. Those really made me smile and laugh at the occasional memories that resurfaced. So after  being grumbled at by the 2 of them because I failed to mention their name in one of the previous blog entries where I did a passing reference to some of the others……. I’ve decided to dedicate this to the 2 38pos… *grin* So I hope you 2 have a fantastic year doing whatever it is that you guys are doing there  in  KL…. and best of luck and wishes and kisses all around~!!! 

All these photos were taken in that cafe with the fantastic tea, while the photos taken in MMU are in my profile photos. Bear in mind that all 3 of us were in a very weird frame of mind… thus the results were pretty reflective of our state of mind from the times as well~ *grin* It was a pity the other couldn’t join in…. but we had a fantastic time ( well… at least I did..~! )

All these photos made me really miss those people I’ve come to admire and had the opportunity to call friends from MMU. Makes me want to hop on the next flight to KL just to see all of them. But most are working…. and probably don’t have much time to go out like we use to…. ah well… c’est la vie…
