London! Next stop…. Newcastle!
Been bouncing around London these past few days~ My aunt gave me some stuff I needed to get while in Newcastle, so instead of having to lugg all my luggage up tomorrow (30kilos piece of baggage is no joke…! Plus a carry on and my HUGE laptop….) by train, I’ve packed 2 boxes to be shipped up today. Had to pay around £30… *sniff* But that’s a lot less than having to buy the stuff I guess…. *sigh* ….. still…….
Met up with the cuzzies…. *yay* Was great to see them after so long!
And I have a NEW phone… again… when my previous one is still shiny new…. (Thanks Em!, if you’re reading this…) She signed me up into her contract for Orange, so free phone! Now I have a Samsung E900… really cool phone!!! My Motorola will probably be passed to my brother if he wants it. It’s still really really really new…. huh~ waddaya know…. bought that phone when I was about to come over here cause my old SonyErricson is really old.
But I’m really really happy with this phone now~~ Except for the fact that the soft keys are a little TOO sensitive… I kept canceling stuff cause it’s right under my thumb when I need to use the menu, and the shadow sort of activates it…. *sigh*
I’m sorta typing funny now…. since I can barely feel my hands!!! Lugging 15 kilo boxes to the post office really tests one’s endurance!!!! Think I’ve lost the ability to write for the next few days…..
*sigh* still need to lug a 25 kilo suitcase, a backpack and a very very big laptop to newcastle tomorrow, really early in the morning….. then try to set up house in the new place! Yay! First thing’s first… the internet connection!!! *grin* Got to get that up as soon as possible!!
Anyone know details on how to get from Kings Cross Thames link to Kings Cross railway station? I have a feeling I’m going to be lost tomorrow…..

haha.. should be no prob. it’s easy to get around in london. as long as u ask. haha. can’t giv u any direction now. since i’ve been in aust for more than a year now. haha. where u gonna stay in newcastle? uni lodge or private?

Evon: weiwie…. 1 week here pro liao meh???? apalaaaa!!! 20, 21, 22 was internation students orientation. Well…. suppose to be orientation, but more like asking us to regsiter before the British students, cause there’s going to be a LOT of them and will get even more confusing…. next week is induction week…. will meet with the tutors and see where is classes and get the timetable…. after that baru start.
