~Another day in an insane mind~

Well… christmas is over for this year… though we will be having a christmas 2 on the 29th for my cuz, her housemate and me…~ Yay~ Even rewrapped the pressies for the tree! *grins*

Christmas dinner at my aunt’s was nice. Lots of food…. I have a bit of a sore throat by now… *sigh*

Oh… Happy Feet was nice. Needless to say I loved Memphis, voiced by Hugh Jackman… *grins*

Going to China town tomorrow…. need to buy some stuff for cooking and etc. Hmmm…

Sorry ’bout my scattered posting…. that’s sort of the way my brain is right now, trying to do multiple things at the same time. Watching TV as well…. "cook on the wild side’… a Brit show about a chef going off to forage/poach/hunt his own food or he’ll go hungry…. Pretty interesting. Get a lot of British places, scenery and ‘old way’s info…

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

In London now…. Took the coach down from Newcastle yesterday. 9 hours! And the bus was faulty, so we had to change buses after 3 hours of jerking. Am staying with my cuz, Em~ Have a nice fluffy futon and pillows~ *cheers* That’s always a big bonus~! *grins*

Had a lovely christmas 1 dinner tonight…. sort of a pre-christmas dinner since some guys are going to be back home during the holidays and won’t be here. We’ll have a christmas 2 dinner after christmas… *cheers again* more food. Hmm… must remember to snag some photos from Mat.

Learnt a new game, Dudo (Dido… *smirks*) which was fun…. but needs loads of dices! Anyway, all in all a great day so far. Oh… nearly forgot! Got to watch Dark City~! *grins* That was cool~!

Though, papers not done… not even finished my country files 1 which I intended to have done BEFORE coming down!!!! *sighs* need to buck up and DO!! SOON! ARGGHHH~!!

These are the upclose photos I took a few days ago. Think it was on Monday? I was walking back from class and we went the same way as  these 2 bobbies~ *grin* Dangit, I was happy~ We were going the same direction…. You can sort of see LT (where I live, Leazes Terrace) at the background…. the looooong building, and at the side, that’s the park I posted photos about. Crossed the street (had to wait for the green pedestrian lights as well… was hilarious) with us. Those were very pretty horses!!!! Love em!!

Took this photo today, there were Red Indians doing some traditional music and dance…. was BRILLIANT! I loved the sound… it was really beautiful. I have a little video clip as well, but the phone setting was off when I recorded it, so only had 10 secs~! *sigh* Wish I took more.

I’ll post the photos I took of my uni next time…. since this is getting rather lengthy and I’m supposed to be working….. *headdesk* damnit… bloody busy~

a little over 2 weeks and I’d be heading to London for the hols… not that it’s going to be much of a holiday anyway, what with 4 MAJOR papars due one after another in Jan…. *grumbles* 4 papers!!! 4 5000 word papers one damn tough topics like sociolinguistics, media analysis and representations!!

Doing your masters is self inflicted torture, I swear!!! I am paying to be put under pressure!!!!! Specially when I’ve not written any serious papers in my life!!!! I’m in Design, for christ sake! Why the heck am I doing something so darn academic? In a red brick university, no less!!!! *headdesk*
