From the post this morning, you’d know I finished my assignment for this semester (*keeps fingers crossed for all PASS*) After going to sleep for a few hours I got up and found that I didn’t quite know what to do with myself! Been worrying about the assignments for so long, now that it’s done…..

Stared at the "pet plant" Em gave me as a 2nd Christmas present for a while… watching it grow… hey, what else do you DO with a pet? *shrugs* But it’s a cool present~ Like it very much… am even thinking of getting another one just for the heck of it. There are 8 in a series. Want to check it out?

There’s working… and there’s working…. and there’s working like crazy…. You probably won’t tell the difference until you’ve reached that limit of working like crazy… then all hell breaks loose.

You guys probably noticed my yahoo status these few days being a bit… odd… yeah? Well… that’s coz I was reaching my threashhold. And facing this last wringer of an assignment, I think I snapped last night…. 4000 words straight… at one sitting….. Finished the bloody thing this morning at 6 plus… Decided to just wait for the binding shop to open at 10 and get it printed and bound. Handed it up to the office at 11. Came back before 11.30.

I’m sort of blurred out right now. Brain dead.

I think I see pigs flying outside…. pretty~

I couldn’t take any more of the assignment. Reading 20 books just to figure out what ’speech community’ is can drive someone loon…. I sincerely hope that assignment is good enough for the lecturer!!!!!

ARGH~ the match (Newcastle vs Birmingham, I was told) right outside me window is extremely noisy!!!!!!! ARGH~!

On a happier note, I’ve finished all but 1 of my assignments! The last one is a wringer though…. as usual, 5000 words, but the topic itself is tough. I have 1 week for that, so I still have a bit of time to dig in deep…… It’s a 100%er… that’s causing much anxiety for me…. Plus, it’s a core subject.

Okay guys… Sorry about the latest missing-me… Been busy, and will be busy for the next few more weeks. Not talking about, ok-can-handle type of busy… this is the hang-me-now-it’s-more-humane type of busy.

And for you guys who’ve been poking me about this issue (yes.. u know who u are…. ) Make up your mind! *grins* First I post too much, now I post too little…

Anyway, enough digressing…. This month is the assignment month. U know how that goes…. churning up 5000 word essays one after another, speckled by some advert analysis, and short notes and whathaveyous…. I’m likely to rot in my room for a while.

Then why am I here right now, you ask? Well… Had a marathon writing session last night/this morning and managed to finish my second essay. So giving myself a celebratory rest for the day. Just doing some prelim. work for tomorrow’s grinding session to resume. Hopefully all turns out well….

London was brilliant~ I’m back in Newcastle right now. Came back a couple of days ago. Wind is howling outside right now too…. It’s 2am in the morning, and feeling quite guilty for having the day off, so to speak…..

Weather’s not as cold as I thought it would be though…. *shrugs* It’s cold, don’t take me wrong…. but was expecting…. well… snow? Was told it’ll snow in January!!! It’s Jan already! It’s usually only 8 degrees here these days~ It’s not natural~

The new semester starts 29th jan. My final essay’s dateline is on the 26th. *grumbles*

Brings to light how different the days are here now compared to lounging about at Em’s place~ *dreams* Making plasticine bunnies…. squishy owls….. cooking…. eating heck of a lot….. watching tv….. feeling guilty about not doing work…..

Ok… so that wasn’t the nice bit…. but anyway, point was I COULD afford to lounge about…. So there… *pouts*

Am looking forwards to Easter! Probably be heading down south again~
