No photos allowed inside though…. so I only have shots of the outside…… We happened to go when they had some extra stuff, such as the Tale teller which was really interesting. Told stories from the Medival times. We hear the Tale of wise fools…. *grins* Missed the Battleaxes and Broomstiz tour (for movie locations… Bummed about that, but can’t be helped) but got to join the History tour….

All in all a damn impressive place, and a wonderfull trip with wonderfull friends! My thanks to Kathrin and Iching! Thanks for indulging my sudden whim to go!!! *grins* Trip started at Alnmouth station, to Alnwick castle, to Alnwick Town, to Alnmouth beach, to Alnmouth Town, and back to Alnmouth Station….

Back from Alnwick and Alnmouth. Had to finish and submit my assignment before posting/editing any photos… so this is the only 2 I have for now….

Alnwick castle was featured quite a lot in Harry Potter movies 1 and 2. I have no idea where the exact locations are since I couldn’t find the guided tour for movie locations there….. Managed to get 2 spots though~

Well…. what’s new…. Was supposed to be working on (and finishing) Audience Studies essay by tonight…. but went off to watch Pirates of the Carrabean 3…. Ho hum…
Was… amusing. Too dumbed down though… makes it feel like its patronising the audience. Some bits were fun, but not going to reveal anything here in case of spoilers. Only good thing about it was Johnny Depp…. he’s crazy, as usual…. *hint* For those who are planning to go watch, stay till the end. True to form there’s a tiny bit more after the credits as usual.

Am looking forwards to Transformers, the movie. And Harry Potter, of course. Was disappointed with the last movie, hope this one is better. Also looking forwards for the book too! I’ll be getting it on the Monday after 21st July. Yeeeeeeeeee! The last… at long long last!!

Speaking of HP, going to Alnwick Castle tomorrow. Hope it doesn’t rain. Weather’s been dismal these days~

Going back to work on my essay now…. *sigh*
