~Another day in an insane mind~

In London now~ Been here for a little more than 1 week now. *grins* Life is good… Nice and relaxed. Should be starting on my research, but….. *sigh*

I’m soooo glad I bothered to get up early today to go to the Green Festival at Leazes Park (right next to where I live). Its was FUN! Went with a friend, and later on another friend joined us.

Its sort of a Green awareness festival. So there were loads of activites related to it…. specially for kids. Teaching kids how to plant stuff, even giving out free cherry trees, seedlings, little plants for sale, organic foodstuff, wildlife trusts and volunteering groups…. there were loads of stands for stuff for sale, but mostly Indian stuff which I can get at home at a really cheap price.

My 2 friends were attracted by the face-paints~ *grins* Loads of people walking by in odd clothes (fairies, pirates, tigers, puppies…. etc)

I have a bit of a sore throat though…. *sigh*

Managed to finish my proposal by that morning… so didn’t have a wink of sleep….. but there’s a farewell lunch for my MA course at 1… followed by a photo session for those still around… its a pity so many friends weren’t around for that…. But we still had fun…

The night, we went to dinner at MalMaisons to celebrate. Some of us are heading home, some leaving for some time. Was a classy place, the food was brilliant~! I was still deprived of sleep, since I still hadn’t had the chance to sleep since the morning before… so was running on my… 30th? hour…

Went for the special guided tour on the castle today. Been here so long, it’s the first time I’ve went. But met a Geordi who told me that he’s lived here all his life and he’s never been inside the castle!! So, we’re not too bad~ *chuckles*

Has been a full day today. The 2 hour tour, followed by dinner at Tintin, and then for more food at Marco Polos. After that, cocoa and baileys at the common room near my room, and watched 2 hours of 24, day6… and Badger or Bust….

Sleepy… but still need to do some work…. *sigh*… Need to wake up early tomorrow too…. Promised to go for a focus group…. *sigh*

This week is PACKED! But my dissertation proposal is STILL NOT EVEN in its ‘writing’ stage!!!! ARGHHh!~!
